Hampton Inn Chicago-Carol Stream

Message: Hotel was good enough for two nights. Pool was a little murky, but we still swam in it. Breakfast was good. Remodeling going on so there was a little extra noise, but not disruptive. English was definitely a second language to most of the staff.

Message: The staff was great, and was very prompt to make sure we had proper accommodations and that our additional needs of traveling with a baby were met. We loved having a hot breakfast! My only disappointment was the pool- the room had an off smell, not the typical chlorine smell, and the water was quite cloudy and didn’t seem to be getting filtered. I’d definitely stay here again if the pool was better maintained!

Message: To All of those who choose to stay here know that the staff if great and the AGM, area general manager is Awesome! You will be taken care of and the location is great. No matter which room you stay in you have a nice view of the day.

Message: My first stay here: room and sheets didn't smell of smoke or other people, carpet appeared clean, and bathroom was clean, except for the vent; lots of dust stuck to the metal cover. Staff was friendly and helpful. Didn't try the breakfast. One thing that they could and should improve on is hiring a better handyman/contractor (see pics). The doors they tried to repair were so bad that Mickey would have looked like a pro! They used screws and bolts to hold the door together. The same dirty vent I mentioned earlier had unattractive screws that stood out too. The ice machine didn't work on the 3rd floor (looks like it's been a while, and not sure about the other floors either). The elevator inspection tag was expired almost 3 months ago. Oh and the broken leg on the desk was held on by whatever screws the handyman found in his misc bag!

Message: I had a great time while on a business trip. Breakfast is amazing, common areas are really comfortable. My room carpet had a redish stain, and the pool was cold, it's good it's open at 6 am, though. The toiletries like shampoo, body bad, etc. Are available on wall servers, which save space and waste in disposable containers. The personal coffee maker at the room is so useful.

Message: Can highly recommend! Staff is very friendly and helpful. Rooms are clean. Breakfast available. Had an issue in one of the rooms where the toilet clogged up and I immediately was given help as well as the option for another room. The service is better than the price you pay for. Will definitely want to stay here again.

Message: The room hasn't been upgraded. TV is small. Nice size. The shower is good. The bathroom has a large counter with a storage shelf below. There is plenty of parking. The breakfast is typical buffet. The lobby is large and nice. The service is good. Pool was fun. It wasn't super warm but not cold either. No hot tub.
