Message: I stayed here back in 2019. Then Covid happened. Let me point out the positives verses the negatives. Positive, it was quieter than most hotels I been too. Pool and hot tub amazing. Buffet breakfast was decent. Now for negative. When I walked in room seemed smaller than I had imagined. I was in shock the bathroom was so small. The door literally came close to touching the toilet bowel. At first I thought it was a closet. That what really got me. All that could of been forgiven if a maid didn’t try to open my door at 3am. She unlock the door and everything. I was up at the time and slammed door in the face. I had the safety lock on. I called up front about it. I got this oh it nothing she miss read a room number. Really? Also next day I left my room to get a drink from vending machine. Went to unlock door and I was locked out. So I had my pjs on and had to wait at front desk for someone to return to get me back in my room. Apparently my key was accidentally deactivated. Not sure why. So I give 3 stars because I did enjoy myself but too many things happened that was not okay with me. FYI there was an ink stain on top cover of bed. Drove me nuts. I tried getting the ink out myself the whole time I was there. Bed was not comfortable.

Message: Upon arrival I was greeted with smiles and warm welcoming. The staff is polite and friendly, not to mention the professionalism that was obvious. The continental breakfast was more than I expected. Very well prepared and quite delicious may I add. Well done Best Western Plus North Joliet. I will be returning.

Message: The hotel is comfy and yes I would come back. The carpet was stained and needed to be shampooed, the cleaning crew was short staffed so our room went uncleaned the entire weekend. We changed out our trash cans and made our own beds, no big deal. We do that at home. Under the sink needs to be touched up for the cosmetics. The light bulbs above the sink are blown. The pillows were lumpy, bed comfy though. The breakfast was always a plus. The rail road guys were a bit loud and touching all over the food instead of using utensils put out for them. The pool has been shut down by the health department, sign is on the door. I feel like I overpaid for the stay based on the extras I was supposed to have been able to enjoy. When you're under staffed you should really at least call your booked rooms to make sure they don't need anything instead of just assuming. We needed towels, trash bags, and toilet paper. Daily things still need to be done. Over all it wasn't a huge disappointment but it kinda was. I would go back though because it felt safe and we were able to rest there.

Message: I visit Joliet frequently from Cincinnati and I stay at this hotel every time I arrive. The staff exceed my expectations every time. I came to celebrate my birthday and they had a gift for me which was unexpected but very much appreciated.
