Message: Everything was lovely and we’ve already rebooked for our next trip. The motor inn portion of the hotel was perfect for our needs. The hotel lobby was beautiful. I loved how close we were to the train station, and there were so many nice places to eat very close to the hotel. Free parking was such a perk too. And the staff was great, from the front desk clerk to the maids.

Message: Wow where do I begin! First of all, The Carleton is a hotel of of unique and antiquated luxury. I felt like I was wondering through a 1920's movie while walking through the lobby and halls. We used The Carleton for our wedding venue in May of 2022, and we couldn't have picked a better place in the area! We worked with Katie during our whole process, and oh my goodness, was she absolutely WONDERFUL to work with. I can't tell you how taken care of we felt by her. We had to postpone our wedding 4 times due to covid, and she worked with us all the way through, and was flawless in navigating the unknown of this new world we were living in. She was such a blast to work with, and there was never even a hiccup throughout the whole night. Our guests had such a wonderful time, and the food was incredible! Their vendor is the restaurant located next door called La Notte. The Carleton is also conveniently located near Poor Phils restaurant for late night bar food, the Frank Lloyd Write house for all the architectural buffs out there, and a quaint neighborhood filled with local restaurants, bars, and businesses. Overall, the experience was absolutely wonderful, and we are so happy with the service the Carleton provided.

Message: Rehearsal Dinner for my son's wedding. Food was outstanding, love the atmosphere in the bar. Katie Fox the coordinator at the hotel was absolutely outstanding making sure all of our guests (48 rooms) were happy. Housemen were also outstanding. Very happy with Oak Park neighborhood and the hotel suites were a great place for families to gather, bridesmaids and groomsmen to get ready. Really work perfectly for us and a bonus as cost was reasonable and loved the free parking.
