Message: Poppa Don is a great man the monthly rent you can not beat. He is easy to work with and get along with he also will help you anyway that he can.

Message: I needed a place to camp for one night. Papa Don was probably the most congenial host I have ever met. Only 2 of us were in the campground area. I took a nice hot shower and Don invited me for dinner. He ordered a 12 piece chicken dinner for us to share. No charge. Then we spent about 3 hours just talking and sharing life stories. Papa Don then shared the rest of the dinner with a family of 6 that showed up. A good time was had by all.

Message: Not your typical campground. Husband stayed for several months for job. Staff was exceptional in security and helpfulness. Very nice!

Message: The nicest owner! i don’t google review but this was such a good experience! very clean campground and it’s peaceful. there’s outlets, fire pits, porta potty, plenty of shade from trees and little cute picnic tables! my friends and i got really excited about a shower house when the owner told us about because we have been driving across country and he was worried about the last time we had an actual meal so he bought us a pizza and let us play with his dog. genuinely the best place we’ve stayed this whole time.

Message: Great folks here. Within an hour of arriving was invited to hang out at a communal fire. They kept waving me over so why not.,. was immediately offered food and drink. Had a wonderful stay. Although it may not contain the most modern amenities, the vibe is kind and giving. Uncle Don who runs the place was very warm. Kudos to good people.

Message: It worked. we travel for my husband’s job and this was the only campground with availability. They were nice and helped us get set up. Everyone is friendly enough. But the place isn’t well kept. It was a literal mud pit. Mud everywhere. Our lot was covered in trash when we arrived. We had to clean up before letting the dog or toddler outside. No bathrooms or showers. The road is SO loud 24/7. Most people there live there. It’s basically a trailer park with campers and people yelling at each other day and night. But it was livable for the few weeks we needed to be in the area. Not much to do in the immediate area but my daughter and I found quite a few really cool toddler friendly activities within a 45 minute drive.

Message: We really loved staying here! We were here for about 2 months to visit family & really enjoyed our time. Owner was very helpful and kind. Could get muddy on rainy days. Felt safe and was really quiet aside for vehicles driving by on main road. Would recommend for passing through or long term and would definitely come back again.

Message: This campground is a little bit old, but very clean and well maintained. Don is an amazing host, very helpful with everything. Everybody everybody's friendly.. With this being an old campground, it is a little tight if you have a bigger 5th wheel or RV. I'm currently staying here for another 3 or 4 months, and I would definitely come back in the future.
