Message: The most pleasant and best staff. They go above and beyond to help their guest. My husband travels for his job and we’ve used ESA's all over. Romeoville location is by far the best we’ve been at so far.

Message: I must say I truly had an overall good experience at. ESA Romeoville/Bolingbrook. The amenities and service met my expectations. You can tell that the staff here take pride in guest satisfaction. Job well done ladies- these ladies were always friendly, courteous, and helpful. (Janice; the manager and her front desk personnel Yvette, Megan and Nicole). The good vibes alone had me writing a review and giving recommendations.

Message: Extended Stay America saved us when a storm left our home without power for 5 days. Booking through the website was incredibly easy, and the staff was so nice and accommodating.. Our room was exactly as shown in photos. There are a lot of complaints on here about cleaning or condition. Our room was well-cleaned. Was there some wear-and-tear that you'd expect in a hotel chain that is affordable and encourages longer stays? Sure, but I don't expect them to replace every piece of furniture or flooring between guests.. We chose this chain so that we could stock up the fridge (saving some of the items in our powerless fridge at home) and cook meals to avoid the expense and risk of eating at restaurants during the pandemic. Mission accomplished; we were able to easily provide most meals for the family or pick up food at nearby restaurants to eat there.. Because there is cooking going on, there absolutely were some odd smells in the hall, but they never made their way into our room, which is remarkable. And pets are allowed, but despite multiple dogs on our floor, the walls were so well insulated that noise from other rooms never was an issue at any point.. Someone else posted about "sketchy individuals" congregating outside the hotel. It appears they stayed about the same time we did, and they might be using "sketchy" as a codeword for Hispanic laborers who were relaxing with coworkers at the end of their workday. While we were there, they were never distracting, loud, or disruptive, nor did they present an obstacle in the parking lot. If your goal in seeking a hotel is to ensure you don't interact with anyone whose income is less than $200K, you're going to need a more expensive hotel.. The only downside for us? We needed good internet for work (we couldn't go into our offices due to covid restrictions), so we paid for the upgraded daily internet. It was affordable but couldn't quite handle video meetings well. I got disconnected fairly regularly. Still, that seems to be an issue with a lot of home internet providers, so it's not the end of the world.. We were never sure when our power was going to be restored, and the staff was super nice about extending our stay and ensuring we could safely cancel it when we needed to. I don't have enough nice things to say about how personable staff was.

Message: Pros - Its in an area where everything is close by. The beds are comfy. The rooms don't smell. Have a laundry mat downstairs with vending machines. Housekeeping is great they do ours once a week. It has a mini kitchen (two stove burner, microwave, and a full size fridge! ) Are also pet-friendly. Kiara is a great receptionist always attentive, gets people in and out with what they need /updating cards/making a payment/receiving towels/sheets/picking-up packages/getting quarters for laundry. Very friendly. CONS/downside is that sometimes the cards have to be updated almost every other day to get in to your room because the reader doesn't recognize the card which isn't that much of a big deal only when you get there after work and there is a long line of people waiting to be attended - There is another person on the evening shift that is very. me putting it nicely takes her time. And all you want to do when you get home is pay your week/update cards, get to your room and go to bed after a long day. I think that would be the only issue.. everything else is great would definitely recommend this hotel for a couple of days or a long-term stay. The Manager Janice is very sweet, attentive and helpful takes care of customers pretty quickly.
